Hello,I am Stevie Mould.
I am 18 years old Singer/Songwriter from Beverley, East Yorkshire. I have always had a love for singing but in 2010, I started to attend the Hull City Council Creative Voice music sessions. From this I had been given the opportunity to perform and build my confidence, whilst performing with other young people. My first opportunity was to sing in the 2010 Freedom Festival, at Fruit Humber Street. This was a whole new scene singing to an audience but I loved it.
I joined my school gospel choir in 2010, although i am not still a student at Longcroft School i do try and get back as often as possible. I also decided to teach myself the guitar in 2010, i recently took my grade 5 in guitar and got a distinction.
Also in 2010 I started to attend an open mic night, which was held at George's Bar Driffield and organised by Singer/Songwriter Edwina Hayes who is such big inspiration to me. My dreams soon became reality when Edwina asked me to support her, at a gig at The Old Courthouse, Thirsk. My first professional gig and to support Edwina Hayes, wow, what more could a 15 year old girl have asked for?
2013 was the year my debut album was released. Finding Stevie was a great personal achievement for me and I also really loved making it. 2013 was full of great gigs such as weddings, festivals and my first Arena gig at Hull Ice Arena, for the Hull Stringrays home game against Nottingham.
During 2014/15 i have continued to extend my set, which i love to play as often as possible. Due to educational studies i have not done as much as i would like to have done this year. As a new path this october i joined, Access to Music York to do level 3 music performance which i personally feel will only better me and give me lots more amazing opportunites to do what i love to do.
